Hawaiian Community Assets (HCA) has been assigned to complete your required Financial Assessment (FA) on behalf of the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands(DHHL).
Beneficiaries must enroll with HCA and complete the online intake form to complete the financial assessment.

Through DHHL’s partnership with HCA, this process provides free access to personalized financial counseling, budgeting support, and guidance to help you understand what you can truly afford. These services are fully covered by DHHL and are designed to support your journey toward homeownership and long-term financial stability.
What to Expect:
- Complete your HCA enrollment and intake form, selecting “Financial Assessment for DHHL Paper Leases.”
- After submission, you will receive an email to schedule your Financial Assessment with an HCA Housing Specialist.
- You’ll also receive a list of required documents to upload to your secure client portal before your appointment.
- Be sure to monitor your email for important next steps and instructions.
Important Reminders:
- Completion of the intake form is required to begin your Financial Assessment.
- Your Financial Assessment cannot be scheduled until your intake is complete
- Missing documents may result in an incomplete assessment.
