Five years of growth, service, and helping Hawaiʻi’s families move toward a stronger future.
For Bree, five years at Hawaiian Community Assets (HCA) have been more than a professional milestone. It has been an opportunity to grow, support local families, and be part of a mission that makes a meaningful difference in the communities HCA serves.
What has kept Bree at HCA is knowing that the work matters. Over the years, she has valued the opportunity to learn, take on new responsibilities, and continue growing while contributing to HCA’s mission.
One of the most rewarding parts of her role is helping clients connect with the resources, education, and support they need to improve their financial and housing situations. She especially treasures the moments when clients feel overwhelmed or unsure where to begin. By guiding them through enrollment, answering their questions, and connecting them with available resources, Bree helps make the process more manageable and gives clients a clearer path forward.
Looking back, Bree is proud not only of how much she has grown within the organization but also of the ways she has contributed to HCA’s work and the communities it serves.
For those just beginning their journey at HCA, Bree encourages an open mind, a willingness to learn, and the confidence to ask questions. She also reminds new team members to build relationships with coworkers, embrace new challenges, and remember the purpose behind their work—even when things get busy or difficult.
“Even when things get busy or challenging, knowing that we are helping people makes it worth it,” Bree shares.
As HCA celebrates Bree’s five-year anniversary, we recognize her dedication, growth, and continued commitment to helping Hawaiʻi’s families build stronger financial and housing futures.
Mahalo, Bree, for five years of service and for being part of HCA’s mission. We look forward to celebrating your continued growth and impact!
